Default my first skinny jeans NSV!
No, they don't fit yet.

Buuuuuut, I tried on every pair tonight. Each one of them I can squeeze up over my butt! I can even button some of them! I mean...I wouldn't wear it in public,(helloooo, muffin top! ) but hey! Even the smallest pair (a 9!), which used to stop somewhere in the middles of my thighs, comes up over the hips and stops where a pair of jeans is MEANT to stop.

Now to button them...

Okay, so it's silly. But it made me feel pretty good. I hadn't really felt like the 18 lbs I've lost has taken anything off of my body, but I guess I was wrong.

*edit--Ha, not the style skinny jeans. sorry, I wasn't very specific. These are old jeans of mine that I tried on...and the legs aren't skinny. ew.

Oh, hehe...not the style. But I've seen some at Old Navy. although...they're not flattering on ANYBODY. Not if you're not underweight.

I'm talking about the jeans that I'm keeping in the back of my closet that I'm trying to fit back into.

I can't wait till i get there! way to go! definitely a milestone

(and yes, skinny jeans should not be worn by anyone who has hips, even the very slender with hips, it is a bad style for the vast majority of bodies)

Actually, Lilybelle...even though you're at a healthy weight, skinny jeans would probably look good on you. you have killer legs!

Woo hoo congratulations!!!! Have you thought about the newer style low to mid rise jeans? I never thought these would be for me, I had always worn the relaxed fit jeans with the waist that goes almost to your boobs jeans. This year I have been wearing the lower rise pants and low and behold, no muffin top!!

ewwww, I never wear the higher waisted pants. blech.

no, the muffin top is just from them being too tight! I've got some meats on my hipss.

Thanks Amber for the legs comment. I also had a lot of "skinny" jeans in my closet that I worked to get back into. I love the midrise jeans because they fit well on me. I don't like the stretch material ones because I can't keep them up , as I have a very flat butt now. LOL
