Default Non-scale victory: Weightloss resulted in being cast in a show as showgirl!!
I auditioned for a show full of showgirls in skimpy costumes. The director said the girls had to have good bodies. He called me last night and offered me a part. I guess that means I have a good body. YEAY!!

I'm so estatically happy right now that I'm skipping around like a kid.

I have 13 more pounds to go until goal, and the dance rehearsals over the next 2 months will help me lose that and get all nice and toned.

Just had to share.

Thank you all for the kind words!!!

I'm going to have to bite the bullet on the costume thing. For so many years I've been wearing jeans and baggy tshirts or sweaters - it's been ages since I wore anything form fitting or revealing. I'm sure I'll have some akwardness to deal with.

It's onstage. Just at a community theatre. I've been doing volunteer work for them for over 25 years, but about 5 years ago I stopped trying out for parts on stage because of my weight. I changed over to being a director and working on crew/staff. Now that I lost the weight - I wanted to try being onstage again. What a way to make a comeback, eh?
