Hey Guys!

I never thought I would never get to post this mini-goal. I this morning I am officially 100lbs down. I still have a ways to go to hit my full goal, but this is a huge milestone. Thank you all for giving me continued motivation and support when I needed it. :carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot:

I started off with the basic calorie counting, which made me cut some carbs and for sure sweets. Luckily I don't love sweets. Eventually I started eating some complex carbs again(sandwiches and pasta) but in very small amounts and not regularly. I lost about 80 lbs in a year and then I plateaued hard. I plateaued for a year and couldn't get out of it. It made me depressed and want to give up at times....especially when I started to gain weight again. Eventually, I decided to try alternate fasting and that also didn't help. I started a ketogenic way of eating in July and now my body is fat adapted. I am often not hungry, I eat much less but don't eat more than about 45g of carbs (so I get them mostly from leafy green veg). My workouts are the same. I am very active. I dance 3-4x/wk, play soccer 3-4x/wk (3 different teams), personal trainer 1x/wk, independent gym workouts 1-2x/wk, and do a cardio dance fitness 1-2x/wk. so yeah, I sometimes do 2-a-days. So its pretty easy to see how my year long plateau was frustrating.

I feel like that qualifies as way more than a mini goal. You are doing so great! Wonderland is fast approaching for you!!

Congrats! That's great to hear. Amazing. How did you do? I lost 6 pounds in just 2 weeks with a new method and cutting down on bad calories! :)

Its been a work in progress. After hitting a year long plateau from typical calorie counting and exercise, I started a ketogenic way of eating. My body is loving it.

I am so impressed! You really deserved to accomplish this goal! Keep on good work! It will pay out for sure! You can not immagine how happy and motivated i felt when i wrote your post especially that part with the trainings since this one of my goals to begin again to train hard.
Btw how old are you (if it is not inappropriate to ask)
