Default Week 3: So much to tell!

I am in the middle of week 3 of my weight loss journey. I have been counting calories and exercising 5 days a week (4 days of Zumba and one day of 2 mile speed walking).

So here it is... I am down 20 pounds in just 3 weeks and I yesterday I looked down to see that I had inadvertently crossed my legs. I was so excited, but my husband didn't look impressed. I guess it is a woman thing.

I am a teacher and my school district hosts Free Zumba classes at various schools around town. It has been amazing meeting people in my same boat and seeing people who have achieved success.

Oh and the best part of all is my ex-husband saw me yesterday and said that I looked like I lost weight. (He is a jerk, so his opinion wouldn't matter)...

I also have had the support of a great doctor. She has tested my BMI and even pulled out a tape measure to get my measurements. I couldn't be happier to where this journey is taking me.
