Default NSV: New pants!

I have been wearing the same pair of size 17 jeans to work for six months because it is the only pair that fits. Last week, I went shopping and was able to buy two pairs of pants, a 14 and a 16 (the 16s are even a little big, but there was no 14 for that design). I have to get them hemmed because I always do (I'm 5'3"), but they are really cute and I am excited!

How exciting! Needing to buy smaller clothes was probably my greatest incentive and reward as I was going down. Keep up the good work!

Yay new pants and new sizes! Not only that but crossing the threshold away from the "plus sizes" is always wonderful, right?

Hope your seamstress can also take those 16s in a bit!

That's fantastic! What a great incentive to stay on track. bought one pair of color/print jean-like pants last weekend for work. Today I went "shopping" in my charity box I got together this past spring but never donated and found a few skirts and cords I can get into for first time in quite a long time (yes, they're still in style).

That's awesome, way to go! I loved being a size 14. It honestly was one of the most flattering sizes for me! I bet you're looking amazing.
