Default My Daily mini goal

I haven't exercised since September 2014 due to an injury and then knee surgery. I gained every pound I lost plus some and now that my knee feels good enough to exercise again - I'm going to do a daily goal to eat better and do 30 minutes of exercise Mon-Fri.

I did the 21 day fix and I got burnt out exercising every day. So now I am doing Walk Fit M-W-F and Wii Zumba on T-T. I also just bought The Simple Diet book, which should be here Thursday.

I have 13 weeks before I head to Florida for vacation and I want to look good. My overall goal in those 13 weeks is to lose 25 pounds.

Going to take it one day at a time.

I can do this.

Assuming you are under 5'8", your goal is more than entirely doable - so good luck! And a great plan.

Keep the focus on the diet though. I love exercise as much as the next (wo)man but diet is 80% of the weightloss game.

Exercise does (mostly) other good things...

Happy to say my knee is doing great with my Walk Fit DVD and I'm doing 2 miles. Will increase it to 3 miles next week. I've also lost 3 pounds and the Simple Diet works for me. One day at a time.

Couldn't have said it better myself! It's all about the calorie deficit.

Good luck, Frustrated48. I know you'll do well! And thanks for mentioning that Wii has a Zumba - I'll have to check that out!

What's great about the Wii Zumba is you can create a workout just for you. I created a 20 minute one with the amount of intensity I could handle. It's a great way to get used to it. I know you're supposed to wear the control on a belt (included in the DVD), but the belt would keep slipping and I was paying more attention to that then the moves, so I just place the controller on a flat surface pointing towards the TV so it doesn't freeze. If that happens, don't worry, the controller probably moved with all your jumping! LOL Just reset it and continue.

So far The Simple Diet is great. I don't find myself getting too hungry and when U do, I grab a piece of fruit.
