40 pounds, gone!
Yesterday morning, I weighed in to find that I've lost 40 pounds!!!!! I told myself before starting my weight loss effort that if I could lost 50 pounds, I could lose a hundred. Well, I'm 10 pounds away from being at that goal, and I'm REALLY starting to believe in myself!
My sweetie and I went clothes shopping because all of my old clothes were stained up and extremely plain (black cotton t-shirts), and I was acting like I didn't care about myself or the way I looked. I deserve a treat, especially after what I've accomplished. We went into the Bigger/Plus Size clothing section that I'm used to shopping in (I was wearing 4XL shirts before losing this weight). NOTHING there for me - as usual (which is the reason I bought the plain black tees)! My sweetie walked into the "regular" clothing area, and I argued that I wouldn't find anything there. I walked out with XXL. The XXLs actually have a little extra room in them, so today I bought XLs! WOW!
I'm so thrilled by all that I've accomplished and am so motivated to keep going. I have some Large size shirts in my drawers from many years past that I'd like to wear again, and I'm thrilled to being so close to THAT goal, too!
