Default Back in to my old size

This is slightly embarrassing to admit, but for ages now I have been wearing the same 2 pair of jeans. I was about to burst out of them, potentially exploding the button off and across the room to bury itself in the wall, when I finally got back on track with my diet. I literally felt ill at the thought of having to pay money to buy the next size up, and it was preferable to be massively uncomfortable in them than buy a bigger size. Sizes are such head games (For me at least)...

So for months and months I wore one pair, washed the other, then wore that pair while washing the other and so on. Finally one pair was getting especially threadbare in the thighs. (The fat girls bane, rubbing thighs wearing pants out )

Since I got back on track I've lost nearly 15 lbs (14.6 as of today). Today I decided just for comparison sake to try on my pants that are the next size down. I figured it'd give me a good gauge of how many more pounds I'd have to shed in order to fit back into them. I must be getting close right? Maybe 5 more pounds?

To my surprise they fit! They are even comfortable!

I am so happy to suddenly have more than 2 pair of pants to wear.

HOORAY! This is exactly the kind of good news I need to hear! YEs you are now the proud in control owner of an expanding wardrobe! Expanding in choices and selection but not going up in size, you are going down in size.. and saving money too!

LOL I've done this too....2 pair of jeans constantly being washed and rotated. I'm determined to get into my smaller jeans and refuse to buy anymore! Congrats! I hope to join you there soon in MULTITUDE jean land!

Oh, I did the exact same thing for who knows how long - I'm surprised they hadn't completely fallen apart by the time I finally got rid of them :/

Congratulations! And enjoy your newly-fitting wardrobe!

Wow great news..I did the same thing and when I made up my mind to lose weight I was so glad when my skinny pants fit. They had been in the back of the closet while I rotated my 2 pairs of bigger pants.
I have now got rid of the fat pants because they were so worn out and have 3 new pairs of relatively new skinny pants.
It sure feels good and you are well on the way to even skinnier pants.
You go girl.

Yes it is something of a relief. I already patched one pair of my 2 that I was wearing, because the inside of the thigh was nearly see through it had worn so thin. It's awesome to have more options.

Hey today I finally cracked the 15lbs mark and that also means that I am finally left with LESS than 20lbs to lose. Somehow that helps a bit, psychologically.
