I went for my run this morning, after much self-coaxing, and I was fast! Well, not objectively fast, but I've been slowing down as I've gained weight. A few years ago a 10:30 minute mile was normal, then 11, then 12. You get the idea. But this morning either my phone was lying or I ran 3.5 miles in 34 minutes. And it felt great!
Also it was my usual route, so even if my phone lied, there was a definite improvement in pace.
