Yet another NSV!!!

  • So lately I have been faced with a lot of *gasp* free food. Before the holiday weekend, my department at work had a potluck. This past weekend, I had a family engagement (and we all know those always come with lots of food, at least in the South). And then today, my job decided to have a cookout for the whole building. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, potato salad, sodas, potato chips, the whole 9 yards.

    I was always one of those "if it's free, you better eat it" type of people. It's how I was raised. My family loves food, free food is better. AND I RESISTED!!!! I brought my lunch and ate at my desk away from the buffet for both of the work events, and ate a conservative amount of food with my family over the weekend.
