Have you ever been to a fair/concert/event, etc, and seen a shirt you loved but didn't buy it because you couldn't try it on at the booth? And you NEVER bought stuff without trying it on? I was that way for a long time, especially with cute cotton tank tops. They had to be a very specific length, color, fabric, etc, to look good, and the lack of trying on always stopped me from getting one.
Well, yesterday I took my dog to a pet fair. I stopped by a rescue booth and they had the CUTEST stretchy cotton tank top that said "pit bulls are a girls best friend". I have a pittie mix, so I held up a medium and said "looks good, I'll take it." When I got home, I tried it on, and it's ADORABLE!! So not only does it look great, but I felt like I really accomplished something when I *knew* that I was fit enough to look good in that shirt. It's been a few years since my major weight loss (still have another 10-15 that I'm working towards), but it's times like that when I am reminded of how far I have already come!
