My fav snacks are usually the Fiber products, off brand or fiber one... Peanut butter fiber bars, apricot fiber bars, fiber one brownies, cinnamon cheerios dry. Edamame is really good! I eat it with sea salt or chile sauce which is like a spicy sweet & sour.
My fav meal is: 1/2 cup Egg Whites, 2 laughing cow light cheese wedges, cut up Canadian bacon (60 Calories worth) and 1/2 cup Pineapple.
It's really yummy, the eggs make me feel full for awhile, and about 250 calories! I usually eat that or oatmeal for breakfast to make sure I'm full longer!
I bring cans of soup pretty much everyday to work, so I don't have a choiceof what to eat, they're only 200-300 calories, and since I eat fiber products at break I stay full.
For dinner usually chicken with something... Beans & corn with mccormicks chipotle lime seasoning all mixed up. Or chicken & pineapple with mccormicks Maui seasoning & a veggie on the side. Or stir fry veggies & a potato with Ginger seasoning and some type of Chinese sauce, my favorite is Hoison garlic.
& I like to lookn things up in the Hungry Girl books or website to try & turn my favorites or cravings into more calorie friendly options.
I stick to 1200 calories a day, and Sundays let myself have more usually 1600. I usually get a Papa Murphys deLight pizza on Sundays. I try to not feel deprived as much as possible, and try to eat food that I enjoy, that makes me feel full, but isn't to many calories. Some things like mini flavored rice cakes I dont eat at all because I think they're really good so it's harder to stop at 1 serving.
