I've been dieting & exercising for around 3 weeks now. I started at 245. Today I weighed myself mid-afternoon and found that I'm now 239! This is the lightest I've been since at least May (I had a job this summer and gained 20 lbs.) and I am SO PUMPED! I seriously almost cried (I have the tendency to get really excited about little things). Also I've been getting a lot of compliments from people saying they can tell and that I've been looking better!

This isn't as significant as what most others have posted on this minigoal thing but that was my first one planned, and I figured I'd share it.

Every single pound truly is significant! I think it's terrific that you get excited about little things. That means that throughout this journey, every pound will be exciting for you. We don't hear that around here very much. That's an advantage for you right there.

You are doing great! Keep going. You can do it!

Don't compare yourself to others!! Your goal is significant to you Chels!! What you have accomplished is huge! You got started and are going in the right direction. It's awesome that you get excited about the little things. I get excited whenever I see shooting stars...or dolphins in the river...or perfume from Saudi Arabia...lots of things
