Default 50# gone

50 pounds gone

i'm overweight instead of obese.

8 in from waist gone. from 40 to 32 which is under ribs. button is 33. i'm hourglass. this is where i see the biggest change.

and this morning i was having another crazy morning. ran outside to bring my kids' glasses and backpack as they got on the bus. then my neighbor asked me how i lost the weight. this is the first time this has happened with people other than my in laws.

my answer was same as many of us chickies. online support, relearning portions, being more careful about eating fat, exercising consistently, so on.

thanks. yes i generally love when people notice. i guess maybe eventually i might feel uncomfortable, but that hasn't happened yet. all noticing and asking how i did it is taken as a compliment.

i still have my easy days and not very hungry, want to exercise. and days i'm trying to NOT 'eat the furniture'. those days are less often. having a good day mentally today obviously. went to my kid's christmas program at his school (singing) last night, wore my puffy white winter coat. so happy it fits now! had it for 5 years, can finally wear it. and didn't feel fat sitting with all the parents. i feel...normal sized.

actually, sometimes i'm jealous of the apple! you must have great legs. all the muscle i have, you'd think i was lance armstrong or something. i still have no definition in even my calves. but i'm working on it.
