Default BMI is better

I checked my BMI on several sites' calculators & got the same result: 29.7, which they all say is (just barely) out of the "you are officially obese" category.
It feels like a minor victory. I had said when I first started here that what kicked my butt in gear was an upcoming family reunion, and that's true. But a close second was being able to prove on paper (for ins. cos. & the like) I've reduced my risk for the various health problems associated with being obese and overweight.

The sites I checked my BMI on were the AARP's; the CDC, the American Heart Assn., & the U.S. gov.'s (I think it was health & human resources).

It's a baby step of relief.

Congrats! Yep, going to overweight from obese was the only time in my life where I'm like, "YES! I'm overweight!" Lol

Yay for you!

Thanks, everyone (and congrats on how much all of you have lost!)!
LOL, yes, I really did think, "Woo-hoo, I'm overweight, not obese anymore!" Perspective, perspective.
