I guess this is a mini-goal. When I started this journey on Dec. 29, 2008, my original goal was to weigh 150 before my 49th birthday. Well, I'll be 49 tomorrow, and my official weight at Monday's weigh-in was 150 (149.6, to be precise). Since 150 is the dividing line between overweight and "normal" for my height, I've also reached the milestone of "almost normal", though my friends might disagree with that.
After it looked as if I was going to be successful at losing weight, I dropped my goal to 145, where I hope to be by the end of the year. I have a good chance if I keep up my current rate of weight loss, which seems to be about 3 pounds every 4 weeks (usually with a "whoosh" at the tail end of TOM).
