Nebuchadnezzar ...I've just lost 19 pounds total since June. I'm working on my next 20 lbs now.
You'll make it down to 140 if you keep going.
It will take time.

I count my calories and eat what I want. But no junk. I have a balanced diet.
This is going to have to be a lifelong effort. To keep losing, then keep it off when the goal is met.

Too many people reach their goal...and start eating their way back up again.
Can't let that happen.

A friend of mine lost 120 pounds and looked terriffic. Then she said "I can start eating now"
She gained it all back in a couple of years.
What a mistake! All that work and effort down the drain. She was clueless when it came to maintaining.

I am eating 1650 calories a day. Will have to drop down to 1550 when I hit a plateau.
I just look in the kitchen every morning..and see what food is there for the day...write up a menu plan...and add up the calories. I have to write it down...it is so easy to go over 1650 otherwise..
This works great for me.

Oooh, that sounds terrible! I dont think I could mentally handle going through all this stress and change only to reverse it. In the short month I have been on 3FC, the Maintaining forum has taught me a lot. I know now that Maintaining is harder than this bit and that these changes are forever so...lets hope they stick with me! Gotta stay accountable!
