So yesterday I went to the doctor's office for an appointment. The last time I was at the doctors was exactly a month ago; when I was just in the beginnings of my weight loss journey. At that time, I weighed about 242.5 pounds.
But back to yesterday. I went to step on the scale and BOOM: 233 pounds even.
I was very excited! I have had two weekends full of eating off plan and expected to weigh more! But I guess since I went right back on plan after those weekends it really helped!
Another thing that got me excited was getting my TOM. Weird, I know....but let me explain! I have been feeling so randomly bloated lately and I was wondering if it was my TOM or if I was gaining back weight. I am relieved to know that it was my TOM!
Another thing that made me happy was trying on clothes in my closet with my sister and some friends yesterday. We are going clubbing tonight and we wanted to put together some cute outfits. I tried on some button-up shirts that used to not fit right and now they are baggy! I guess some of the fat has randomly wooshed off of me. I still don't fit into my old skinny jeans, but fitting in to shirts makes up for all of it.
Thank you all for your support and advice. Seeing this mini-victory is really making me feel like I can do this.
