  • I ran on the treadmill today instead of just working out on the eliptical. This is a first for me! I have always been embarrased or it has hurt to run due to being so large. Today I decided the gym wasn't too crowded so I would give running a try. I DID IT AND THE TREADMILL DID NOT CRY OR COLLAPSE!!! Some may find me ridiculous, but I know others may feel the same way as I have in the past. I didn't run for long, but it felt good to be able to run and not just power walk! To actually get air feels good
  • That is AWESOME!!! Great job!
  • Haha thats awesome! Keep it up! :P
  • That is soo awesome! I jogged for the first time like last week and it does feel great. Especially when you start going longer! Congrats
  • Congratulations!
  • Seriously...screw anyone who gives you any negativity! You are at the gym and that's all that counts. remember...it's mind over matter...YOU don't mind and THEY don't matter!!!!! Keep up the good work!
  • the feeling of running on the treadmill is sooo awesome.. I would buy one if I could I love nature and all but the fact that I can trust the track to be smooth, leveled, straight, and the air to be the right temperature.. lets me focus on the running, the beautiful feeling of running free from restrictions.. aaah

GREAT JOB !!!!!!!! KEEP AT IT!
  • as someone who knows what an accomplishment this is, (since that's all I do is run on the treadmill) I will give you a and a wonderfully huge CONGRATS!!
  • Thanks Everyone!
  • great job! that's a challenge all in itself sometimes!
  • Congrats! Enjoy your accomplishment!
  • woo hoo!!! i have been having major treadmill issues - i'm a better outside runner than i am indoor runner. are you finding the treadmill easier than being outside?
  • Great Job!!
  • I haven't really tried running outside, but I usually work out on the elliptical because it is lower impact. Perhaps this summer I will give outside a try because I would much rather be outside then in the gym. Although, I am pretty cautious about working out because I don't want to injure myself. I can't take the setback...it would crush me emotionally...so I have been keeping the running to a minimum until I get more comfortable with my body
  • Congratulations! I can barely walk on the darn thing. I am always afraid someone is going to ask me if I have it turned on !
