  • That's so exciting! I'm proud of you!
I am by no means a runner... I've never understood the appeal, but today I started to wonder if maybe I just haven't gone about it the right way... Thinking about trying to do the C25K program! Not sure yet, but I think it would be a really neat thing to try!
  • Oh, that's just great! Don't worry about only jogging for a little while...as long as you're doing it, that's amazing! Pretty soon you'll be able to jog longer and longer...I know that's what I'm working towards. Congrats...and keep it up!
  • Lol. Your post cracked me up. This is so me. I STILL haven't tried it at the gym...I'm afraid other will complain about the huge pounding noise I will no doubt make! Thanks for this post, I just might try it now that I know I'm not alone.
  • Great job! I know how you feel, though. I have always been afraid to try jogging or running at the gym beucase of what other people will think. But yesterday I actually made a committment to myself that I am going to go for it. WHO CARES what they think!!!
Reading your post made me feel even better about it. Thanks girl!
  • Congrats on your success! I have been doing C25K, this is about my 4th time to start it and I have never actually made it to a 5K. I run outside, treadmills frusturate me because I have to knowingly change my pace and that is a downer for me especially when I have another mile to run . As a former college athlete, I guess I am lucky I have never had a fear of gyms or the people in them. I figure everyone is in there for the same purpose, to be healthy and look nice.

Congrats on conquering your gym treadmill fear.
  • Congratulations!!! I am doing the c25k training right now and I can't even imagine running 5 minutes yet! Great job!
  • Congratulations!
  • way to go!!! awesome job! keep up the great work! doesn't it feel great?!?!?
  • Congrats! That is awesome, keep it up!
  • Thanks Everyone!!! I am glad others have found my post helpful!
