I just went back to the town we use to live in for 10 years. I was pretty much heavy all the time we were there and started my new life style within a month of leaving there. Anyways, I got stopped by at least a dozen people saying "OMG you look amazing" "I didn't even recognize you" etc etc and then I went out with friends to a bar, and I was no longer invisible. I know it wasn't just a self confidence issue but people actually would talk to me, at a higher weight I was usually ignored completely. I am happily married but I swear I even got jealousy vibes from some women for having conversations with men it was all very eye opening and very surreal.

It is such a wonderful feeling when people tell you how amazing you look! Sometimes it is very hard to notice it on yourself because you see yourself every day.
