Default First Mile Walked

I have struggled with my weight all of my life. Recently have been battling asthma, which made it difficult to exercise since I was having trouble breathing. Finally got my medications straightened around and have the asthma under control. Joined Weight Watchers last week, and today I walked my first mile. It felt great to be moving. I thought I would be tired afterwards, but I wasn't. It just felt good to accomplish that mile. My mini goal is to try and walk at least a mile every day this week.

Oh that is so miserable - I have asthma, but it's not constant (triggered by cold and kitties) but when I go through my spells where it's worse it is so frustrating to feel worn out all the time and not be able to go for my walks. Good for you for persevering through the medications! And congratulations!!! I LOVE walking. It's soul-satisfying ;-) WOOT WOOT!

Achieved my first mini goal by walking a mile each day for a week. Went to my weigh in and was down 3.2 pounds this week. Now I am on to mini goal two....seeing if I can continue to walk a mile or more each day this week!
