Post starting's always hard

but i think i've gone through it these last few days. i got myself a cross trainer and i actually do work out on it. we hit the gym with a friend today and it went really well, it was our first time and our next is thursday. we're thinking about going 2 or 3 times a week. i'll work out at home the rest of the days. and i got rid of all the junk food at home. uhhh. this would probably be a tough one.

Starting is hard! But what I find harder is STAYING ON. Like you said kittycat40, I frequently fall off and try to get back on. Hopefully we all get our grooves!

Sounds like you are on the right track pocketfulofsunshine! I started with the junk food too. Now I am down 10 pounds and feeling good.

nope... understand that there WILL be instances where you eat in a way that doesn't suit your weight loss goals. DO NOT think of it as failing per se... just a bump in the road. lifestyle of health and weight management CANNOT be so black and white.

yeah, you're probably right.. what's one of the greatest things about exercising after all?! burning the yummie things you've eaten lol. so when i "fail" by eating something which sounds bad, i'll just work out a bit more than usual. how does that sound?

Greast your back on track. Having a friend join at the gym always makes it so much more fun!
