I'm getting my teaching credentials, it's a pretty hardcore program and I'm with the same 30 people everyday during the semester. Well we had the past month and a half off and I used that time to get really focused on eating right and getting exercise and lost about 10 pounds .

I haven't noticed many differences beyond my pants being a bit looser but when I went to class today EVERYONE was like "oh my goodness you look awesome"! It was sooooooo nice to hear, I've been smiling all day. So apparently the strictness and the sweat is paying off!

Now I'm really ready to finish this!

It is really interesting how you often don't notice the changes in yourself when you see them everyday, but when others don't see you for a while, they can immediately see the changes. I found the same thing kept happening to me on the way down. I wouldn't feel that much different after a ten pound loss, but, invariably, someone would comment on it. Feels pretty awsome, huh? Congrats!!!

It was also nice that it was positive comments about looking more fit and trim not about being too skinny etc. I'm training for a 10K mud run and a mini triathalon so when I stop and really look at myself I can see my muscles are starting to show more but it took others telling me so for me to believe it.

But thanks and yes it does feel awesome!

I'm so glad you are getting positive feedback on your hard work. I sometimes think I'm going to have to lose 40 lbs. before it even LOOKS like I've lost weight. Every little bit of positive feedback helps you move forward.
