Mini Goals 2009
 

Along with dropping 33lbs to date. I have officially quit smoking!!!! :carrot::carrot: I put it off forever during the past year, telling myself when I hit goal I would quit...Well, I re-thought that idea and decided that being 7lbs from goal I would just go ahead and quit anyway! So no more huffing and puffing at the gym because of smokers lungs, but instead more huffing and puffing because I am able to breathe properly!!! YAY!

I am just going to go ahead and add progress pics while I am at it, just for the **** of it. Enjoy!:carrot: 1st 2 are before, 2nd 2 are current~

CONGRATS! That's such a huge achievement!!!!!!

Almost forgot to add. You look beautiful.

You know.. I was just feeling all depressed on myself because I hurt my back and can't exercise and want to eat to make my back feel better and myself feel better, and I'm all feeling like what's the point????

I'm glad I saw your before and after pictures because it made me see what I'm working towards. I want to be as beautiful as you are.

You look great and your sooooooooooooo pretty what great eyes. :) Congrat's on stopping the smoking . I stopped about 15 years ago I never look back wtg your doing great.

Melissa, jeeeez. You, as I'm sure you know, are hot! And that is an incredible difference for 33 lbs, especially for someone as tall as you. Your pics are incredibly motivating, so thanks for sharing.

How are you feeling right now? My step father smokes and smokes every 5 minutes and gets upset and acts weird when he can't. Hang in there it looks like you'll make it. Good job on your weight loss. doesnt it seem like you can do anything now?

That is prob the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me, you such a sweety!! I have read alot of your posts and you are a very motivating individual. You will meet your goals, just keep your eye on the prize and I swear all those blood, sweat and tears pays off!

I feel awesome! I can breathe when I am working out, and working out stops my cravings for cigerrettes. I really think I will never look at a ciggerrette ever again. My goal is to run a half-marathon this year and I cannot do that if I am a smoker. This is my motivation that is keeping me away from those darn things! I really do feel proud of myself for getting this monkey off my back. Quitting smoking is hard, especially when your also trying to lose weight. It's almost like a double whammy. But I am doing good so far in 09'. I really want to meet my weight goal sometime in the next month or 2. Then I will start the art of maintaining. Thank you all for such beautiful comments. It really does keep me focused, and there is nothing I could do to ever thank you all enough for that.

Also, as always I have a few new pics. I am wearing the same dress as in the picture above for this past weekend's holiday party I attended but I took 3 hours doing my hair so I am going to share it LOL!:carrot:

So the last 2 are the hair shots! I did that myself, I am definately not a hair dresser so I think I did alright tehe!:carrot:

I quit smoking 7 years ago now and know it's not easy to break habits -- I gained about 30 pounds in a year!!
