Yippie!
To make a long story short, this past January, I reached a goal of 101 lb weight loss, but due to some minor surgery that followed very shortly afterward (not to mention the depression that went with it), I gained about half of my weight back.
Several months ago, after figuring out my food addictions (i.e. sugar and bread products), I cut them out of my diet and have been on a (so-far) successful eating lifestyle. (I also started walking several miles 5-6 days a week.)
I got on the scale today after a 2 week pause since my pants were becoming so dang loose and found out I lost another 6 lbs

Meaning, I have only 16 lbs to go before I get back to my original weight loss of 101 lbs!!
After I reach my original 101 lb weight loss goal from January, I'll have another 63 pounds to go before I reach my final target weight goal of 130 lbs
I guess the reason I'm thrilled to death here is I remember soooo many times of screwing up on a diet after a time (like going overboard on a rich fatty meal, hence giving myself license to just eat full steam ahead and put on the pounds), that it's GREAT when I finally figure out an eating lifestyle that actually works for me and I'm seeing the pounds come off instead of coming back on again!
Too many times I've either seen friends of mine (or myself) just say the heck with a diet plan and binge away and we get fatter and fatter and more miserable and angry with ourselves for binging in the first place.
It's not often when I (or some friends of mine) actually correct ourselves after a spell of binging for weeks/months and REALLY get back on track for losing weight instead of trying out yet another fad diet again that'll only result in yo-yo dieting and temporary weight-loss.
There's hope for every chickie on this site!
