I'm not sure if anyone else does this, but I started it about two years ago when went through my first successful dieting phase. At my heaviest I was in a size 16, and I bought a pair of size 14's and hung them beside my mirror. Once a weak, i'd try them on until finally, they'd fit. And not just the "I had to lay down on the bed and not breathe out for 30 seconds" kind of fit. I mean the natural kind of fit that made you feel like a million dollars. As soon as I could wear the 14's, I bought 12's and repeated the pattern until I was in a 10. Now, i'm in a very,
very snug 12. I'm actually a 14 by now, but i've just got some really worn in 12's that fit "okay". So today, I bought a pair of 12 jeans from American Eagle that were on sale for 19.99. I'm starting over with these jeans

Does anyone else have similar mini-goal motivations?
