  • My friends went to burger king today and I didn't eat! I went home and had the salad I knew I should. I know this is eye-rollable to some people, but I am a fast food junkie, and now I know that I really don't HAVE to have it just because it is there; and instead of making an excuse that it is "just french fries" or something, I knew that they weren't worth it. I also exercised over an hour on the treadmill today, jogging and walking on and off- basically, the mini goal I met was really starting my weight loss journey instead of only in my mind. Thanks everyone for inspiring me to do this! I can't wait to post back here when I get under 200- about 10 pounds away! (I was over 230 two 1/2 months ago the day I had my son- he was only 7 of them!)

  • No eye-rolling here! Every time you do something good and right for yourself it is a reason to celebrate. In time, hopefully, all the little things add up to a new lifestyle and a happier, healthier you.

Congratulations on your realisation and your victory.

  • Here here!! That's a big deal. Cause aren't the lbs coming off in response to many many times of making the choice to eat appropriately. I had a similar experience myself recently. I know i'm losing slowly, but i'm enjoying each of these small accomplishments tremendously!!

    to you!!
