After half-a$$ing my weight loss for a year, and then finally getting serious about it in this past month, I'm FINALLY down to a number I haven't seen in a little while. YAY! 152!
I lost a big chunk of weight a few years ago, down to 135, and when I think back, I always forget how difficult it was, and therefore remember those months as being pretty easygoing... like, I remember the numbers going down, not the planning meals and daily calorie counting. When I gained the weight back after a year of neglect, it resulted in me just 'saying' I'm watching my weight, not doing as much as i did before, feeling like it would come off as easily as I remember.
The new number has been a huge motivator, and I know it's the beginning of seeing more and more new numbers.
Another motivator was a scary one to try: I ordered a too-small bridesmaid dress back in February, and the wedding is in June. I probably shouldn't have pressured myself like that, but it's at least gotten me to start taking this weight loss seriously.
