Default 10% mini goals

I found a huge difference breaking my total weight loss down into 10% mini goals. When I achieved my first 10% mini goal on April 19 it seemed less daunting to know I only had to do this 9 more times vs losing 140 more lbs.

Mini goals are awesome! I am even working on 5% loss at a time so I get to celebrate more often! I am almost to 15% lost!

I think that's a brilliant idea, I'm going to do the same thing. Thank you for sharing the suggestion, and congratulations on how well you're doing!

I definitely couldn't make this journey without mini goals. 123 pounds is a long, long road. But being able to celebrate significant milestones along the way is like getting a free bottle of energy drink after every few miles in a marathon.

Or... how I imagine that would feel. *G*

Plus, the experts say that dropping 10% of your body weight can have real positive health benefits.
