Congraduations on the six pounds. Unfortunately I bet you're going to find out you're going to need to do a lot more than drink tea before it's all over with. Btw welcome to the board!

Congrats on the weight loss. I've heard though that the first lbs dropped is usually water weight. Don't quote me on that though LOL. Anyway good luck to you and welcome to the board!

Hey Piperc - welcome back! Haven't heard from you in a while. You sound a little down. Don't beat yourself up too much on the workout front. Remember, this whole thing is a "lifestyle" change. It takes time. It's not going to be overnight for anyone. I realize that. So, if your just watching what you eat and not getting the exercise you would like, here's some suggestions that have worked for me (FYI - I hate exercise too!):

1) Start sloooowwwww....10 min. on bike, eliptical or just a 10 min. walk 1st thing in morn.

2) gradually build up to 20 min. cardio (your body will let you know when it's ready)..you may actually be surprised to find that these 10 min. workouts actually get easy after a couple of weeks, but are quite effective. (you don't have to hurt to see results...)

3) use any opportunity to get that extra umph in (ex. park car far away from grocery store entrance; take stairs whenever you can, etc.

Glad to see you back here. How's things going with your diet? Are you staying on track with that? Joyce
