Default NSV - Inches!!

Sooo...

I have been a good little trooper the last (almost) two weeks - going to the gym almost every day that I work (gym is on the way to work), doing cardio at home on my days off, parking in that very last spot in the lot every time I go shopping, and counting each and every calorie that goes into my mouth. I've barely changed my eating habits, except that I have managed to keep the junk to a minimum and i'm keeping my portions under control.

Anyhow, at work yesterday, I noticed that my pants.. were.. well.. annoying. They were already my TOM pants due to the fact that they were kind of big on me, but lately they've been one of the few pairs of pants i'll wear because absolutely nothing fit. I spent the majority of the day hiking them up!

This morning I hopped on the scale to see that I haven't lost any more weight - so I grabbed my measuring tape to check out what was up here - and i've lost an ENTIRE inch on my waist and another ENTIRE inch on my hips!!
nothing on my bust yet, but I know from past weight loss journeys (though this is my LAST) that that will come last. I'm very much an apple and have very little I can lose there, so i'm perfectly happy with what has obviously gone.

I've also noticed that my waist is becoming more defined (I barely had one as it is but you can see it now!) and that my legs and arms are already more toned!
What a difference 30 mins of exercise daily makes!!

Thank you!!!!

I used to do a class at my gym called Body Pump which is a cardio/weightlifting class... I LOVED it.. I went 3x a week and I think the fact that I was doing that class really helped with the fact that I'm toning up so quickly.
Unfortunately I was in a car accident this past August and while I wasn't hurt badly, it aggrivated an old knee injury. One of the reasons I'm here is because I put on 10bs in the months that I wasn't going to the gym at all, or only going once a week because I was "taking it easy"
If I don't keep up with an exercise program and stay really really active I tend to put on weight really quickly.
Since going back to the gym the last couple of weeks I've really only been doing about 30-45 minutes of cardio - switching it up between the bikes and elliptical trainers, because those don't bother my knee. I know that your body can get used to any exercise routine really quickly, but my gym has about 6 different kinds of ellipticals, all with different programs, so I switch up which ones I use and what pre-programmed program I use daily. I would love to be able to just go outside and run but I know that I would end up pushing myself too hard and be laid out in bed for two days afterward thanks to my knee.
I think i'm strong enough to go back to the body pump classes starting next week, and I can't wait because I hate using the resistance machines for weights and I will not do them on my own.

At home, I have an urban rebounder and I LOVE it... but I hate the videos and I'm just barely coordinated enough to use it... sometimes I'll do the yoga video but for the most part I don't really like fitness videos because the instructors annoy me. On my days I don't do the gym, I'll grab the rebounder and just bounce on it, lol, in between keeping up my house. I'll put a movie on and do like 30 minutes of jumping jacks on it, or i'll run in place. the bounce tends to take a lot of stress out of my joints and makes it easier for me to keep going because I'm not in any pain.
