Default Hooray I am 198!!!!!

Or is it 193? Or is it 206?

Well as some of you know I threw my scale out about 2.5 months ago. So here is the stats.

You all know how different scales vary. Well mine was on the "lower end".
And you all know how weighing later in the day, after food, with clothes on etc adds more weight.

Anyhow I was about 205, 1st thing in the a.m./, no clothes, etc a few months back. I got angry when tom came a few days later and had a higher reading and smashed the scale.

Well I went to Walmart a few days after that and was looking at new scales. The digital ones said 216.46. The one similiar to mine said 210/211. (I am assuming it was about 5 lbs more than what mine at home would of weighed due to time of day, clothes, eating etc.)

I went back about 5 weeks later and it said 5 lbs less on both scales. Okay cool.

Well yesterday I went and the one similiar to my old one said I was 198/199!!!!! Hooray!!!!! The digital one said I was 206.

So with that first reading if I subtract about 5 lbs from that (time of day, clothes, food, etc) I would be about 193!!!! I can definately tell a difference in my belly and face.

Either way whichever scale is accurate I am either 193 or 198. I am stoked!!!!

I can almost squeeze into 14 jeans! A few of the "stretch gap" jeans fit but were still too tight too look comfy in. I am super excited!

I almost want to get one of those $5.00 scales and weigh in the a.m. but I don't want to get all stressed about it like I was. Either way I am 12 pounds lighter than what I was a few months ago. So for now I will just clock it at 198 cause I did see that number at the store. Yeah!!

Hey!

However you calculate it, you're a loser!

Maybe a good strategy would be never to buy another scale, but just browse the store scales every two weeks!

Thanx everyone! Yeah I am excited! Being on this side of 200 makes me feel like I can do the rest that needs to be done.

Thanxgiving is coming up to, that means I have about a month and a half to do another BIG push to show up and have the family be proud of me.

Congratulations!! I feel your frustration with the different weights.. I thought my scale was the only one whose numbers fluctuated by 10ish pounds within like 20 seconds of each other. I never know which one to go by. Maybe it's a problem with just digital scales as opposed to the analog(?)the ones with the stick and number lol) ones? I'm looking into getting one of those.

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Hey Virgo! Well I thought mine was accurate cause my gyno's read 18 pounds lighter!

In 2003 after having my 5th child, I went to doc's office(6 week apt) and weighed in at 220. Okay, whatever. (Wasn't working on weight then), but like 2 days later when I went to another doc office to get the IUD I weighed 240!!!

So I knew his scale was off.

Fast forward to 2006 going in for yearly, it said I weighed 218!!!! But I was weighing 233 at home. Both my aunts happened to be out and they said it read the same thing their home scale said.

SO I figure I will stick to the base scale, ya know the $6.00 walmart scale, that read 198 for sure, even though it was after eating and with clothes on etc. That is why I figure I am probably 4-5 lower.

10 pounds within 20 seconds? Good grief!!! lol What brand is that?

You'd think the digital ones would be better.

Hi Jasmine!

Great job, you rock!

My nurse practioner told me we should always weigh ourselves on the same scale. But it doesn't seem right that scales vary so much!

Hope all is well with you and your family

Yeah they do vary. That is why I figure I am best sticking with the two at Walmart. At least over time I am seeing them go down.
