Default NSV** - New Driver's License Photo

I just got back from the DMV, and not only am I smaller than the weight on my driver's license (just barely, but still...), my face looked so skinny in my new picture. Almost made up for how long I had to wait in line!

It's so weird still to see pictures of myself and remember, oh yeah, I'm not the fat girl anymore.

Default I've always said, you know you've lost wt. when..

You know you've lost wt. when you weigh less than what you lied about on your driver's license. In my case, I was 25 #s under the "lie" wt. and my picture was great! How does that happen? A great driver's license pic? I was so pleased with that, even though the clerk did NOT update my wt., I "lived" with the lie, and just thought the highway patrol could sort it out. Fortunately, I was not stopped.

This time, my pic was great, my wt. was correct, but the clerk checked the "driving only with corrective lens", which is not true, so I had to go back and physically take another eye test to prove I could see!!!! Ahhh....yes, beaurocracy. Doncha love it???

That's awesome! Such a great feeling to see your face looking thin. Congrats!

Default Congrats

That's awesome.

I would love to be at the weight I lied about on my DL. I've had 200 on it for the longest time. When I told the lady that number to put down she did. Then I said but we all know that's not exactly true. She looked at me like "Huh?". I said "it's really more but I'm not willing to admit to that". She looked me up and down and said "you've got to be kidding. You can't weigh that much." (bless her heart) I had to laugh. Have the people at the DMV seen the wrong numbers for so long that they honestly can't judge how much a person really weighs?

My license is up for renewal in June of '09. By then I'd better be at the weight I should be. I'll be more than happy to stand in any kind of line to put that number and that face on my license!
