Well I have come along way. From 280 down to 195 or so. In some ways I am mad at myself for not being farther on my journey. But I keep reminding myself how far I HAVE come and that I have dealt with ALOT these last 3 years.(2 parents dying, a divorce, a miscarriage, then my ex passed on last August) I have also learned alot about health and nutrition and exercise these past few years and that is something I wouldn't of learned if I had crash dieted.

This first split photo, me on the left is about a month ago, on the right is a picture of me from my wedding April 2006. I need to dig deep if I want to find more pics of me that heavy and heavier. The wedding pic I was about 252.



The first few are pics from V~day yesterday and the last few are me with my new haircut today.

I looked at these pics and I almost can't believe they are me! lol

You look BEAUTIFUL! Oh my gosh, what a transformation! Your waist is TINY!!! And your haircut is SO cute! It compliments your face so nicely! (did you go to Gene Juarez? It looks like their chairs )

I agree that what you learn from proper nutrition and exercise is invaluable--and crash dieting doesn't give you any of this wonderful knowledge! It's amazing that you have come through so many hard times so beautifully: you're truly an inspiration!

Thanx so much! Yeah I think I am going to keep it this way for a while. I really like it. My mom told me NEVER dye your hair! Cause it a really pretty shade of red. It lightens up a bit in the summer time.

Thank you. I think it frames my face nicely. I am VERY happy. Even though there has been alot of bad stuff there has been alot of great stuff like meeting the love of my life Joey. We got married April 2006 and he has been so supportive and encouraging the whole time. He loved me when I was 280 and he loves me the same now. He is very proud of me and keeps picking me up. I tell him Put me down!! lol

Awwww thanx! I was 197 the day I took that photo. lol I am 5 3 1/2. I walk ALOT. I usually walk 3 miles -4.5 miles, 6 days a week. I kind of wonder if alot of it is just plain firm. I know one friend who used to work out for months, never dropped any weight but went down 2 dress sizes. I have an aunt who is the same height as me and is 175 and wears a 14. I am just gettiing into some 14's now but still 20 pounds difference? I do think she carries more in her tummy area.

Thank you. I figured it was high time for a new look. I am very happy in life and I know things will just keep getting better. I have alot more energy now than when I was heavier and I am loving feeling free!

Awww thank you! Yeah it does look so nice and polished now. My hair was looking wild and poofy and driving me nuts. The stylist said I can wear it straight or curly. My hair is naturally curly. So I may just need to try my hand at straightening it. I cant belive she got it so straight! lol

Yes the tiara was a must! lol I need to dig thru the old discs and find the older picture. I was so big at the wedding.

Maybe when we get home tonight I will see if Joey knows where the discs are with my old photos. I know that really helps people when they see how big you where and how you are now.
