I made the snickerdoodles this am and They are SOOOOOOO Good. just like oatmeal cookies!!!!
made 2 servings. 2 pkgs vanilla creme pudding mix 1 package of wonderslim oatmeal w/ apples (got a sample from Diet Direct) it's 1/2 cup. you can use 1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal BTW, info for Wonderslim oatmeal (130 cal, protein 12 g, fat 1.5g, carb 19 g, sugar 3g) 2 beaten eggs 1 TB cinnamon or more (if you like cinnamon alot add more!) mix and drop on cookie pan bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. makes about 21 balls (i made them small about 1") (we are supposed to just have this for breakfast....) another recipe i had cut and pasted awhile back but havent tried yet is: Brownie Bites – suggested by SouthernGal08 (2 servings) Take 2 packets of the Double Chocolate pudding (vanilla creme works great too) and pour into a bowl. Take out one or two spoonfuls of the dry powder and set aside. Mix the pudding with just a little water - enough to make it stick together so that you can shape it with your hands. Roll the dough into bite-sized balls in your hands, then roll into the dry powder you set aside. Yummy! Sometimes I mix the chocolate pudding for the center, then roll it into a little bit of the vanilla creme dry powder! Very tasty |

There is so much protein in the shakes, I am going to try and do without HNS. We will know Tuesday whether it worked or not. I could have done the green menu, vs. the shakes, but I feel the shakes work faster, and my daughter and friends are coming in Tuesday, so wanted to be where I should be. If I want to go out and have a glass of wine or whatever, want the 5 pound wiggle room to do it.. Hope this answers your question. Have a nice day. Patzi |

They are used to handing mommy the items they don't like...and I always ate them...NOT this time! I am really working hard this week at staying stricly OP...I have 12lbs to go until my personal goal is reached, and I want to get there!! I drove 45 minutes in pretty bad weather for my WI last week...it was our first real snow of the season, and the visibility was not great. Anyway, I lost 1lb...and was a bit frustrated with myself:( Risked my life for confirmation of 1lb!! LOL crazy.... Well, hope you all have a great weekend and a happy Halloween! Stay strong, ladies...:grouphug: |
thanks Camaswa and Patzi,
some days i really don't feel like eating real food (get tired of eggs or salad, etc.) :-) so will do the shakes for breakfast or lunch especially on busy work days when i'm slammed. i have protein shake powder and also the chocolate pudding/shake mixes...guess i could use either of those. i get kind of confused w/ what is a meal replacement or a creamy HNS? thanks for the info! :-) |

They also have a chocolate truffle..have you tried that? Sounds yummy.

My center said the shakes (premixed) count as a meal replacement when you have 2 at once, and as a creamy when you just drink one. It's confusing: would that mean any creamy could count as a meal replacement if you use 2? I dunno. It's hocus pocus anyway. The important thing would be steady protein all day and low carbs. I wouldn't do this very often. But to get a grip, break a stall, or just for a change of pace once in a while, I think it's ok.
