And to reach that all time best, I maintained 3.0 speed for most of the walk and went up to 3.3 then 3.5! I've never been up that fast before. I had my little hand weights and was doing great with those on 3.0 but when I cranked it up, I had to hang on to the treadmill.

AND.. I just committed to running a 1/2 marathon with a friend of mine, sometime next year! So not only will I go ride all the roller coasters at Cedar Point (at least twice).. I will be training for a 1/2 marathon. I'm PUMPED! :dancer:

Way to go candi....keep on going and going....you are doing great. :carrot:

Awwwww.

I totally understand what you mean. I feel the same way. There have been some real rough patches for me in my journey, too, and it has been a lifesaver (and sanity-saver) to be able to come here and vent or get inspiration.

I went to WI yesterday and lost 1 lb. This is my third week losing 1 lb or less. My average finally went under 3lbs, so in my head I am officially frustrated. My counselor said to try Meta-Quick for the next three days and then return to my regular menu.

I'm just surprised how the past 10 weeks has flown by - I only have 7 weeks left of program and I am no where near my goal of 50lbs (or at least it feels this way). Technically I only have 23 more pounds to loose, but it just seems so far away!

This morning when I got out of the shower I noticed that my stomach was very, very small. Gross out here - I would normally have to flap it up in order to see below my waist - this morning I didn't. This made me curious!! I also pulled out some size 18 jeans (I was a size 24-26 when I started) .. and I was able to button them but it created a muffin top ... SO VERY CLOSE!!!

I wish patience would come easy on this journey, but it appears to be a true test of will and strength! I weigh in tomorrow again in order to get my 2 times in, but I doubt I will lose anything.

Hi...
I can relate to you, I really can, but hang in there the end will come, I promise. As I have said previously, I did not meet my goal when the center said I would, I had to buy more weeks.. Patience sometimes does not come easy, as along with it is depression, frustration, etc..

Do try the Meta Quick, as I have had to do that many times, and it has worked for me.. Good luck to you. Your weight will come off.

Hi...
I weighed in today and lost .9 pounds . I am finally 3 pounds under goal and that is where I wanted to be. Now..... I will stay on blue menu, as I can't add on to green menu without gaining for some reason.. I lost the weight with having one small muffin and I added a protein drink with it when eating it, and still lost.. This week will add something else, until I feel comfortable. If I gain I will omit it and go on. Not the traditional way to do maintenance, but this works for me. When I had muffin, I not only had a HNS, but a fat and carb blocker. I know peanut butter makes me gain, so can't do that..So maintenance for me, will be patience and knowing I will come up with what I can eat and not and maintain.. We know a muffin works. Yeah for that.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.. I will inform next week on what I added on to my menu and how I did weight wise.

For the person that went on blue menu, If you stay on program with no deviation, you will kick start, I would believe. This has worked well for me in the past as has Meta Quick. I find fruit in morning suits me better than at noon.

Patzi,

Glad to hear you can enjoy the muffins with your husband. Good luck with the add on for this week!

WI this morning. I was hoping to go below 300lbs but that would have been a 5lbs weight loss since Monday.. so I wasn't holding my breath. I ended up losing 1.5lbs which means I finally got rid of that .5 and I'm at an even number.

I created an Excel chart to track my weight loss and did really well the first 2 weeks, then only lost 1lb, the next two weeks were great and now this week only 2.5lbs. I'm really hoping to be below 300 next week and I haven't been below 300 in over 6 years.

Since I've started to exercise more, the consultant suggested I drink another HNS, even on days that I don't exercise because my water mass ? I think that's what she said has dropped which I guess isn't a good thing. I had her go over my inches lost from last week because we really didn't get to cover that. The biggest areas of loss - 3 inches in the bust, 3 inches in the "natural" waist line and 3 in the hips.. at least I'm losing inches evenly.

That's it for now.. I hope everyone has a great day!

Hi. I've got my official weigh in for what I gained on the cruise I took last week. I gained .8!! I was very happy with that number as when I first got back, I had a lot of water weight showing up!

They are also letting me go another week on the Meta Slim menu before I start stabilization. I will go as long as they let me without buying more weeks!

Thanks for the encouragement! I am really happy with it all - but just weighing in twice a week is depressing! I wish I could just do it once a week so I could focus on just living life instead of worrying about weigh ins. I use to enjoy them because they held me accountable .. now they are counterproductive!

7 weeks .. maybe patience will come LOL

I am digging the menu switch up! I think its just what I needed to "refresh" me and make me not so sick of the program.

And last night, I made a delish turkey meatloaf. Hubby liked it so much he took the leftovers to work for lunch! And it was so easy...just turkey, a bunch of spices and herbs, and green onion. And I topped with frank's red hot. Sooo good!

I think I made one mistake on the yellow menu yesterday though...we had green beans with dinner. And my menu doesn't list green beans, but does list "string beans." Same thing, or no?

I am pretty sure green beans were once called string beans it's just what they are before they are cut up and canned differently.

If you feel that strongly about it you should ask them to go down to once a week. I did a few months ago and I love it. Of course, my center is a distance from my house, so maybe that's why they allowed it. But it wouldn't hurt to try.
