I don't know what was up with me today, but around 3pm I was starving. I stayed on plan though, and now it's time for bed! :yawn: Usually hunger like that is followed by big losses. :crossed: Can't wait to see what the scale has to say tomorrow! |

Okay, so I did not see a big loss like I was expecting, like I usually see when I get that hungry. Instead, I gained almost 2 pounds. I did start exercising a couple of days ago. Could that be it? If so, is the weight gain a temporary thing? When should I worry? I don't feel like I'm exercising too much. I'm doing 30 min on the treadmill at 3mi/hr and 4 or 5 strength training exercises. I've done that for the past 2 days, and am planning on doing that 5 days a week. Is that too much? Also, I drank 98 oz of water, so I know it's not the water, but I don't remember the last time I went to the bathroom. Maybe I need more fiber? Logically, I know that I shouldn't worry about the scale going up for a day, but ya know, if I was logical about food and weight, I probably wouldn't be fat. LOL |

Lately, I've been trying to eat my veggies really really fast so I don't have to taste them so much and can "get it over with," then I savor the rest of my meal. Not the best thing to do, though, as I know it's better to eat slowly. But otherwise I get grossed out by them and almost start gagging on them later in the meal. I know, it's like I'm 2 years old again, lol! |

Okay, I finally updated my profile pic. I have also attached a pdf to this post with my before, during (-30lbs), and after (-50lbs) for my current weight. :)
Junie, I think you need to post a before/after pic! I always love looking at the ones people post--it is so inspirational! ETA: Hmmm. My profile pic didn't change. I'll have to work on that. |

It could very well be the bathroom issue. If you keep up the program you should see a nice loss next time. Is your time of the month coming up? It could be that too. Don't get discouraged (even though it's hard not to), but I went through that too. I would keep up steady losses and then have a week where I didn't lose at all, or gained some. But the next week, I was back to losing again. I don't think your body will just lose consisently throughout. It loses some, and then your body has to catch up with your weight loss, and then you'll lose some more. Does that make sense? Good luck! |
