This may seem silly, but I find that the more I run and work my legs...the better my knees feel, eventually. Strenghening them seems to help. When I get into a workout rut and skip a week or so, I feel very week, and so do my knees...does this make sense. Of course everybody is different, but if you aren't seeing a doctor and don't feel like you need to, see what happens after more exercise...take it easy and see what exercises are best for your knee issues.
