Is there ANY time we can have a glass or wine or a no carb something? 3 weeks in Italy! I want a glass of wine!

I was told that if I skip my fruit for lunch and starch at dinner, I can have a glass of wine with lunch OR dinner. I was in Quebec and it was worth it twice and I took a carb blocker just to be sure. Just be careful - it really impairs your judgment on how much you're eating and 1 glass can lead to 2 or 3...
If you do it, really try to savor that 1 glass and don't do it every day.

Plus, it reaaaalllly slows down your metabolism, so flush with lots and lots of water.

What's a carb blocker please?? It is a pill from MRC?? FYI - My ketosis stick says "trace" - dear Lord and this is my 5th day!

I was told that trace is just fine. You don't want your ketones too high.

Yes, it's from MRC. I have had a bottle for 5 months and have only used it about 3 times. It would be too easy to start making it a habit. I used it when I was out of the country and couldn't communicate my food preferences and wanted a glass of wine with dinner. It doesn't block everything, so use it sparingly and wisely.

Trace really?? That's perfect then, cause I've been working out since FEB and have some nice abs to show off, after I can remove some of this hanging on fat! I didn't want the lean muscle to go away.

And thanks for the info on the carb blocker. I will purchase at my weigh in tomorrow, and promise not to over use it. It's just really hard getting back from 3 weeks on a Yacht in Croatia, Slovenia, and then Tuscany and Umbria!

Plus it's my birthday Tuesday!
