On the bright side...
 

The past 6 weeks has been horrible. Our 13 year old cat had to be put to sleep 6 weeks ago today because he had cancer. Today, in the same room that he died in, I found out that our new cat that we adopted last Saturday is dying of lymphoma - which of course is cancer. I'm heartbroken.

On the bright side, what would in the past cause me to eat away my sorrows has not with either of these situations. In fact, I have had to force myself to eat.

Wow, that's tough, I went through the same thing with my old kitty a couple of years ago. I can't imagine having it happen twice! I'm dealing with a dog with cancer currently. It is never easy dealing with aging, whether its pets, parents, or our own bodies. Good for you that you are not stuffing your feelings with food. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

just wanted to say sorry, my heart goes out to you. We had to put down one of our dogs 2 years ago and i have never cried so much in my life.
Good for you for sticking with the plan!
