Unhappy Harder the 2nd Time Around?

Hello all,

Ok so it's been three weeks since starting over on my MRC from home. I started off the first week with a bang, down 3 pounds, then the second week came and I didnt eat exactly on plan, nothing horrible but I was not strict. Week three? ha well who am I kidding, I had bread and wine one night with my sister and then it's been a slippery slope since.

Does anyone feel like it's harder the second or third or whatever do over you are on compared to the first time? Is it because we know what's coming? Part of my issue is last year I had dropped about 25 pounds in two months and then I wsn't super strict and I kept loosing. So now my mindset seems to be oh I don't have to be super strict and I will still loose, well that's not going so well.

It's hard, I have spring fever and want to sit on the patio and have a class of wine. Has anyone experienced this? Any words of advice? I think part of the issue is that I've not really gotten into a good fat burning mode enough to allow for variances in my food intake (like wine) that it makes a big difference. Does that make sense?

Help, I refuse to buy larger clothes. I got rid of all my "fat" clothes.

Down in northern colorado today

You Betcha Your Not Alone...for the life of me I can't reason why it's sooooo easy to put it on yet sooooo "stressful" to get it off. As for getting your mind set into achieving your goal - bribe yourself! Example: get a bracelet for every goal you reach buy a charm to put on it. Wear that bracelet all the time to help remind you of what YOU want! As you get started and see the results (at least for me-of course, before I gained it back) you will become more enthusiastic and strive more so. Hope this helps ya...keep us posted!

Starting in May our wellness program at work is having a 10 week weightloss challenge. So I joined some fellow co-workers to form a team, I figured it will help me stay accountable and it's always nice to have someone to share healthier choices with. I believe our first weigh in is the beginning of May.
