Default Question about water and Crystal Light

I went to food instruction on Friday and got my yellow menu (I was down 3 lbs. ) I didn't do very good today but am ready to start my menu tomorrow!

My question is why doesn't Crystal Light count towards my water total? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for someone who doesn't like cottage cheese?

Thank you very much!

They want you to drink a minimum of 64 oz clear water. Water is what flushes the fat cells. I was told after you drink all your water, then you can add Chrystal Lite to it.. You want the water to fill the fat cells not fat. You also want your body to burn the fat before it burns anything else.. Not sure to what to tell you about the cottage cheese though. I like it with some pepper and Mrs Dash. If I have it for lunch I add 4oz of tomato to it like a salad. Then maybe have 4 oz of cukes or some other veg to go along..

Cheers!
Ronnie

I can't stand cottage cheese. But, I've found if I mix it in with the chocolate or vanilla HNS, it makes an absolutely delicious mousse! Eat that at lunch with berries or peaches and it's wonderful!

I can post the recipe I use if you're interested.

What is VNS?
I always wondered about Crystal light, i felt i was "cheating" on water when i use it. Because really you are still having "sugar" or chemical instead of just plain jane water. Probably your best bet is to have just water its self and then when done all your water for the day then enjoy crystal light.

If you dont like water, Orange slices in it tastes pretty good!

I have done a lot of research on the dangers of aspartame. Crystal Light is sweetened with this dangerous man-made sweetner. Check the ingredients list asap! This is the best possible reason anyone needs to know to NOT use it at all! Stick with water and your weight loss will be much healthier.

It's been a crazy couple of days!

I do basically the same for Chocolate or Vanilla.

1/4 cup water
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 oz cottage cheese (light)
1 pkg chocolate or vanilla pudding HNS
(I add 1 tsp. cinnamon to the vanilla)

I blend the "wet" ingredients in a food processor until the cottage cheese is fairly smooth. Then add the pudding mix. I put 1/2 cup peaches in the vanilla. I really like mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries) with the chocolate. I always eat this at lunch, so I can have the fruit with it.
(replaces 4 oz protein and 1 creamy HNS)

the ladies here have great ways to use cottage cheese. I REALLY don't like it, but they make it edible.
The ranch dip is pretty yummy too
