Default Typical daily menu?

What do you all eat for your meal plan each day? I am trying to determine if I will be able to follow this program if I get the nerve to go sign up at the center. I don't know why I am having such apprehension. I think I'm afraid if I go in for a consultation and it seems way too expensive I won't be able to say no

Debster,

Every menu is different. For me I am on the Meta Slim Plus three, but I have alot of weight to lose. Here is my menu from yesterday....

27-Feb-10
Breakfast :
Protein 1 med eggs and 2oz cheese
Bread 1 LaTorilla 50 cal tortilla
Veggie None

Snack 1: 1 oz hard cheese

Lunch:
Protein 6oz Tuna
Fruit 1 small apple
Veggie 4oz Green Beans

Snack 2: 1 oz hard cheese

Dinner:
Protein 6oz baked catfish fillet
Bread 1pc low cal bread
Veggie 4oz collard Greens

Water 160oz
Multivitamin 2
MRC6 6
Flax 2
HNS 4
Cort 0
Exercise 27 minutes recumbant Bike

You have to remember that I have a lot to lose so I get more snacks and more ounces of protein. Also, you cannot have like BBQ Sauce, Tartar Sauce, Ketchup on my plan. But I am seeing the weight lose and it is worth it.

If you have trouble saying no and are worried about expenses this diet isn't for you. To me the cost of the diet itself isn't bad. The amount varies depending on what you have to lose and whether you want to purchase one year of maintenance. Everyone I have talked to on these forums seems to have paid a different price. I needed to lose 60 pounds and the cost for 17 weeks of weight loss, plus, a month, I think of stabalization, and one year of maintainance was $300. That to me wasn't bad when you compare it to what you pay weekly and for registration at say weight watchers. With MRC you just have to pay it upfront. Ask if they have any specials. You also have to buy HNS supplements from them. These are things like cocoa, broth, berry drinks. Over 200 pounds you need 3 a day and under 200 you need 2 a day. They come 7 to a box. If you buy 10 boxes at once the price is $90.

The problem with having trouble saying no is that they will tell you that having 4 to 5 supplements a day will speed your weight loss. I think it does but it ups the cost. They also have all kinds of herbs and vitamins that will speed up your weight loss. I ended up buying way to many products and regretting it afterwards. So, go in with a dollar figure in your head that you aren't going to go over. If you are tempted to sign up but have any reservations ask them how long the price they quoted is good for. Most of them will give you a day or two to think it over. Good Luck to you.

I agree, the cost is not really bad to start. The HNS are expensive as Helen Ready to Lose stated. Helen have you heard about other supplements that are not thru MRC?

Debster,

I forgot to tell you that if you doctor states that it is medically neccessary most payflex plans will reimburse you. I paid $398.00 and then my payflex reimbursed me because my doctor felt that it was medically necessary. You are still paying it, but it since you don't see the money coming out of your pocket right away that might help. Also, I was apprehensive, but I believe it was one of the best decision I've made for my weight lose journey!
