Default Skin reactions?

Hi all !!

I started the pre conditioning on Tuesday and the WMV, Fish Oil and The Enhancer. I noticed yesterday my face was breaking out a bit and also splotchy <sp?> and red in places. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, were you able to determine what is causing it?

Thank you so much!!

Mel

You know...I seem to remember someone dealing with this last fall with the fish oil. It was a contaminated batch or something I think. No serious harm came from it.

Anyone else remember this??

Does your fish oil say anything about being free from mercury and other contaminants? If you got it from MRC, their labels usually have minimal information about processing. I like to know what I'm taking and how it was processed. I would recommend taking a fish oil from a health food store that specifically says it is mercury free. Or an organic flax oil works just as well, without the fish burps.

My center suggested the Enhancer for me, but I researched the ingredients online, and while they are 'all natural herbs', they still have side effects and interactions. 2 of the herbs should not be taken more than 7 days in a row and one of the herbs shouldn't be taken with a diuretic, but there is one in there. There is also a powerful herbal laxative in there, which should never be taken long term or you can become dependent on it. All that being said, I don't think you've been on it long enough to experience those long term issues, but it's possible you could have a reaction to one of the herbs.

Another possible reason for the breakout... When you detox or when you have junk in your digestive track, it often comes out through the skin and through the face. When I take fiber regularly to flush that stuff out (I add psyllium to my oj HNS every morning) my skin clears up. Drinking tons of water also helps flush everything out.

Good luck!
