MRC-6 alternatives
Anyone get their "MRC6" from somewhere else and cheaper? I'm about to run out and it's really expensive....thought I'd just buy Vitamin B6...which I did but it is 1 capsule 100 mg and I got home and saw the MRC6 is 10 mg for 2 capsules....since they have you take it throughout day would like to get lower dose and something with a similar "proprietary blend" as listed on the bottle of kelp, lecithin, apple cider vinegar, blue green algae, bromelain 600GDLU/GM....please tell me what to purchase and where if you've found a solution.

I would also like to know an alternative to MRC 6.

I believe Lori1234 posted before look for apple cider vinegar - you might check her posts for the info...

I am new but I found this on another site. Go to www.hayesclinic.com and there is a product called KLB5 that is supposed to be almost identical to
MRC6. It is advertised at $24 for a bottle of 180. |

What my center told me was any B6 you don't use your body flushes out. You might check that out. I take the MRC6 and B6 and asked the question if that was too much B6 and that is the answer I was given.

Does anyone know if this product from luckyvitamin.com would work as a substitute for MRC6. It's called KLB6 Grapefruit Diet plan and it's only $3.52 for 100 tablets. It has 20 mg B6, 200 mg soy lechitin, 75 mg kelp, 100 mg cider vinegar along with grapefruit extract and glucomannin.

100 mg Directions: Take two capsules before each meal. Supplement Facts Serving Size: 2 capsules Servings Per Container: 90 Each Capsule Contains 100 mg of each of the ingredients listed in Proprietary Blend on MRC bottle---thus 2 capsules = 1000 mg like MRC. In addition. I will take 100 mg B-6/day. Giving it a try anyway. Open to thoughts/suggestions/product experience from others who have tried this route to get costs down. |
B-6 Warning
I am not a doctor but several weeks ago there was discussions about too much B-6 and the effects on the body...I had been taking MRC6, B6, and B6 in multi Vit plus liquid minerals...I had a rash on my face for months and was diagnosed with rosacea, I purchased the topical medication with no change in the rash. After reading a post here on 3FC about too much B6 and face rashes was discussed by a couple of nurses...so I stopped the B6 which I took 2 times a day, and within two weeks my rash was gone! I mentioned this to my counselor at MRC and she was not aware of this and was going to look into it. By the way the tread is called Rash on Face and I just bumped it - if anyone would like to read it.

Back in 2007 after my local MRC center ticked me off, I ran into a lady who used to mange MRC and had started her own weight loss business. Well I signed up with her because I loved her at MRC, its the same program and instead of taking the MRC6 they had me taking the KLB5. So in other words MRC6 and KLB5 are pretty much the same thing.
