Cool So we're all recycling our water bottles, right?

I'm revealing myself to be a tree-hugger, I know. But I just want to remind everyone to recycle those water bottles and caps. I buy a 33 ounce or 50 ounce water bottle and reuse it until I feel it's been contaminated by being too many places (car, work, theater, etc). Then I give the bottle caps to a friend who saves them for donations to a children's hospital and recycle the plastic bottles.

I also love the recycled bags at Walgreens, Marsh, etc. CVS has the prettiest ones.

I just picked up the CVS bag the other day and my 12 yo daughter has already snagged it for herself b/c she thought it was so pretty. Yes, we recycle adamently. If you've ever seen the planet earth movie on Discovery channell you will never throw away another piece of plastic w/o seriously cringing. It really shook me up to realize how wasteful we are, how awful we are to the planet and what shambles we are leaving our world in for our children. B/C of that I have become a serious recycle queen. My office does not recycle so I actually bring home my plastics for that reason. I'm new there but hope to convince them to start recycling soon. It's a big undertaking, we're apart of a very large hospital but I've got to do something b/c it's driving me nuts :0)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Even better ... use a glass or reusable bottle. I use to do the plastic bottles but then they managed to be EVERYWHERE. Now I have a 32 ounce Tinkerbelle cup from Tupperware. I fill it in the morning ... drive it to work, bring it in with me, have it all day and take it home with me at night. I'm starting to feel lost without it. HAHA. It's also quite amusing ... one side of the cup has Tinkerbelle with this sort of snotty look. Like she's bossing me into another glass. The little snot. I need to learn to turn the cup around before I put on the lid so I won't see her!
