Medi Quick

  • I just finished a 6 day Medi Quick challange and gained a pound! Everytime I do the Medi Quick, it seems like my weight loss slows down or I gain! Does this happen to anyone else? This plan is supposed to jump-start our weight loss, so what is going on here?!
  • MQ disappointment

    Hey Sherryann,
I too just came off metaquick for 7 days (with 1 normal day in between) and lost nothing until 2 days later when I was back on normal plan and lost 1.5 lbs. Go figure. I was really disappointed by this too. I've decided (totally my opinion) that when they switch you to metaquick they're hoping that it will cut out the chances for you to overeat or get extra calories in you meals therefore resulting in quicker/restart of weight loss. The reality is though I wasn't cheating/deviating form the plan to begin with so the metaquick did nothing for me either. The truth is sometimes when you hit a plateau, it is just that and you just have to stick it out until it's over and pray for that day to come quick! I like the meal replacement shakes but found the whole MQ plan to be too restricting for a week at a time - makes you think about cheating more in my opinion. I doubt I'll really try it again
  • Wow - thanks for sharing that Karen - I thought I was the only one! I agree that it is so restrictive that it makes you think more about cheating...which is exactly what I did when I gained that pound! I don't think I will do it again, either -just not worth it. I keep thinking that if I had not done the Medaquick, I would be down a lot more than 1/2 pound this month (so depressing). Sigh. I guess all I can do now it is get back on program and hope that the next 30 days is more rewarding!
