Default the problem I'm having

OK, so, having tried Medifast for awhile and then stopping due to the issues I was having, I think I have figured out what the problem is. I do Medifast through TSFL and thought it'd be perfect to have a health coach, someone to consult with questions and someone to support me as I try to lose weight safely and quickly. I have a TSFL center next to my apartment and met with my coach only once to learn about the program (and he STRONGLY encouraged me to sign up right there on the spot, basically reaching in my wallet for my credit card himself). Now I did research it beforehand, so I knew what I was getting into, but I felt that was a bit sneaky, but I soldiered on..

Since then, he only contacts me when it is time to place a new order. I went to him when I was having menstrual issues and instead of saying "yes, please consult your doctor" he gave me a list of soy-free products. Then when I said I had seen my doctor and she wanted me to stop the program for a little while, he sent me the teen guide which still calls for Medifast products in addition to other whole foods besides the one l&g. It's literally like he only cares about squeezing the money out of me.

Very rarely he will text me to ask if I'm still "staying focused" and make creepy comments like "you know I'm always watching you." This is NOT the kind of support I was looking for. Especially now since I have had my fair share of problems on the program.

So now that I'm back on plan, I'm finding hard to actually STAY on plan, and I've been cheating a lot recently. Little cheats, but they're still cheats. That isn't his fault, but I really don't see him as being helpful. In fact, this forum has been far more helpful to me than my health coach has ever been.

I'm trying to stay focused and motivated but it is HARD. I'm losing weight ridiculously slowly, gained back a few when I stopped, and really wanting to ditch my coach.

Sorry about this, just needed to vent.

citygirl--this is NOT the kind of support you should be givin I'm sorry. My coach is AWESOME! she doesn't send me random texts or anything but she ALWAYS answers when I need her, she gives great advice, and she doesn't care about the money...in fact she told me, when I fell off the wagon, that if I felt like I needed to stay off until after Saturday that's Ok, she'd help me get through it. I would suggest you find a new coach, they need to be there for YOU. Mine is all over the phone...if you can find a new coach that is in the office and you can see face to face, great...but over the phone is great too, and I know my coach would be more then happy to help you (I can ask her if you want, and PM you her info) Otherwise call costumer service, or check out Medifast's facebook page, there are a bunch of coach's on there that you can message!

You need a new coach. Your current "coach" is clearly just in it for the commission he's making off your purchases.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the support. I'm finding it really difficult to stay on plan. In fact last night I had french fries. I haven't weighed because I'm afraid but I'm pretty sure I've gained back the 7lb I lost on Medifast already.

It's depressing because tomorrow I have a bridal shower and am seeing a lot of girls from high school that I haven't seen since high school, and I know they're going to be shocked when they see how much weight I've gained. I joined Medifast with a goal for this bridal shower, to be down at least 2 dress sizes, and well, I'm exactly where I started on May 14th.
