A glimpse into my 4/2 day.

  • Ok. Question:

    I'm on the 4/2 plan.
    A typical day looks looks something like this.

    8:00am L&G: 2 whole eggs, 2 egg whites, 2 lean chicken links, coffee with trivia and 1 Tbs 1/2&1/2

    10:30am a MF bar

    12:30 MF Mac&cheese or chili w/ 2 oz protein

    3:30 MF snack ( pretzels, puffs or bar)

    6:30pm. L&G: 7oz protein 3 cups low carb veggies ( spinach, broc, zucchini, asparagus, cauliflower or artichokes)

    9:00 pm. MF snack ( brownie, puffs, pretzels) and 17 grapes.

    Does anyone know if this looks like a good menu?
    I also walk 4.5 miles 3 x's a week.

  • It's hard to say because I'm on 5&1, what are the lean and green guidelines for 4&2? I'm only allowed to have 5-7 oz of protein per day, so for 5&1 that's too much. 5&1 also typically is serving size 1 cup of lettuce, 1/2 cup of anything else...3 servings/day. But you also get more calories then I do. I think each meal individually looks good if it's within the 4&2 guidelines!
